Sun God Archery at UCSD will be offering FREE beginner workshops to kick off the school year! No experience and no equipment required, come out to try archery and meet the club members!
New archers are required to attend at least 1 workshop!
Please MAKE SURE to fill out the WORKSHOP WAIVER before coming! This is the only sign-up required. In the “Submitting for” box, mark “Rec classes”. CLICK HERE for the waiver!

All the workshops are the same, but feel free to come to as many as you want if you’d like to try more archery! Each workshop is 1 hr 15 min long.
How To Get There
We're having guided walks to our range! Please show up in front of the Target on Library Walk at least 45 MINUTES PRIOR TO EACH WORKSHOP! We will be using the trolley to go one stop to UCSD Health La Jolla. Our officers and volunteers will be there in front of Target.
You are also free to meet us directly at the range, but please be aware that parking is paid. We are located at the East Campus Recreation Area (ECRA), near the UCSD medical campus and the UCSD Health La Jolla trolley stop. Click here for Google Maps location! Note that Lot P702 right next to the field is B permit only, and for visitor parking you have to park further down the street in the visitor parking structure.
What to Bring
We will provide all archery-related equipment! However, please wear closed toe shoes for safety purposes. We do not recommend wearing loose clothing or thick bulky jackets, as it will interfere with the bow.
What’s Next?
Interested in shooting more during the school year? Come to our first GBM of the year! It will take place on October 2nd at 7pm (room TBD, stay tuned for updates on the Discord).
We will have a beach day at La Jolla Shores on Saturday, October 3rd! We will meet at the Target on Library Walk. You don’t have to be a member to come, feel free to come meet new people and find out more about the club! More details to come
