Hi! I’m Chong and I’m a third year double major in economics and political science data analytics with a minor in business. I began my archery career in college with Sun God Archery my first year so I have been shooting for about three years. Archery was one of those sports that I’ve always wanted to do as a kid but couldn’t just because it was not available where I’m from (626 SoCal). However, when I discovered the sport and community when I came to UCSD, I was quickly hooked. This year I will be serving as your president where I am in charge of all affairs concerning SGA. Hey everyone! I’m a third-year Cognitive Science and Visual Art student at Revelle College, shooting barebow. I started doing archery when I entered UCSD as I always have a curiosity for this sport. As the club’s Vice President this year, I will be in charge of managing membership and running the Family Program. See you in the field!

Hey ! I’m Julia and I’m a third year Neurobiology major from Warren. I started shooting with Sun God Archery during the beginning of my freshman year, but I’ve been shooting for almost a decade in total. What initially piqued my interest in archery was a newspaper advertisement, which is kinda lame. But the aspect of the sport that kept me coming back was the supportive community that kept challenging me to go above and beyond the goals I’ve set for myself, and that same sentiment carries over to the community of this club as well. As the team captain, I’m in charge of guiding members interested in participating in competitions. I look forward to meeting y'all this year!

Hello everyone, I am Zongze, but you can also call me Zong for short! I am a second year Molecular and Cell Biology Major on the premed-track from Seventh College. I have been shooting for one year, my first time being with Sun God Archery. I immensely enjoy the supportive environment and excellent sportsmanship of this club and look forward to continuing being a part of it this year. As treasurer, I will be in charge of the finances and spending in SGA and hope to make your time with SGA as pleasant as possible. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello, I’m Irene and I’m a fourth year from Warren majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Music, and I will be your Social Chair this year for the third year! I joined SGA in my first year and made my closest friends through it, and I’ve been striving to give back the amazing experience that the club has provided me. I will be organizing events and opportunities for our community to come together (safely!). Hopefully I will see you all at them!

Hi! I am a 4th year Data Science Major in Warren college. Since I was a child I've wanted to do archery but never had a good chance to, until I joined Sun God Archery in my first year. This will be my third year shooting, and I really enjoy being a part of this club, with its welcoming community and competitive spirit. As your external this year, I will be in charge of managing the clubs connections to outside organizations, as well as obtaining sponsorships and grants. I look forward to shooting with you all in the coming school year!

Hi, I am a fourth year Computer Engineer from Warren. I have always had an interest in archery, and Sun God Archery was a great opportunity for me to pursue this hobby. I joined 3 years ago, and greatly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, as well as the training aspect of the club. While it is a club focused on archery, SGA promotes the social aspect as well, allowing me to meet new people and make friends. This year, I joined the board of officers in hopes of further improving the club. As Director of IT, I will be working on the website, and anything online related. I look forward to working and shooting next to you guys!
