Hello everybody! I’m Owen, and I’m a third year pre-med Clinical Psychology Major at ERC. I first heard about SGA when I was touring UCSD with my older brother in my freshman year of high school. From then on, SGA and UCSD were a package deal, and I joined immediately after I got accepted! I don’t have any prior archery experience and I’m excited to learn alongside anyone whether they be a veteran kitted out with medals or picking up a bow for the first time at our field. As President I will be a dictator.

Hi! I’m Sam and I’m a third year Human Bio major at Muir. I first was introduced to archery at summer camp and fell in love with the sport. After a few years I got my own bow and practiced at a local range with my dad. I joined SGA my freshman year and got to compete in archery for the first time. As your Vice President I will be hosting weekly club bondings events to help members get to know each other better. I am also responsible for club membership, so if you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I’m looking forward to meeting you all on the field this year!

Hello! My name is Ian Cresencia and I’m a fifth year psych student here at UCSD. I always had a level of interest in archery growing up but never tried it until coming to UCSD and seeing a flyer for a workshop. I know how hard it can be to approach not only officers of a club but general members you don’t know, so I’ll do my best as Social Chair to provide events and gatherings that can hopefully allow you to get to know and bond with returning and new archers alike. Don’t be afraid to approach me either at the field or online: I’m here for you, and I got your back.

Hello, I am a fourth-year chemical engineering major in Seventh College. I first dabbled in archery before the onset of COVID. I was intrigued by archery as a child and became jealous when I found out my high school PE program started offering archery in my senior year of high school. I then learned that my friend had some kiddie bows lying around, so we started shooting at empty cardboard boxes we put on the ground. With this brief experience getting fiberglass splinters from flying arrows, I started looking at archery programs at colleges and ended up here. My first year during lockdown, I joined just to do it for as a small hobby. However, I got hooked on the community and decided to commit to pursuing archery further the following year. As director of IT, I’m the guy in the chair that is supposed to update the update. I used to be the Facilities Manager so I can help with equipment. I can’t wait to train with all of you!
