What’s poppin! My name is Alex and I’m a fourth-year Joint Mathematics/Economics major in Seventh College. I was introduced to archery at a young age, and thanks to my love for Hawkeye and the Avengers, I have been shooting for over 12 years now. Ever since joining SGA back in my freshman year in 2021, I have gained a greater love for the sport and the community surrounding it. In my past two years with the club, I served as Team Captain and helped our team win 3rd place overall at the 2023 SoCal Indoor Archery Collegiate Championship, and also managed our weekly team practices. As president, I hope to expand our club’s reach and make SGA a greater presence within the UCSD community. I’m super excited for the year ahead and even more excited to meet the next generation of archers! If you see me on the field, feel free to say hi and come chat with me about whatever!

Hi my name is Zoe! I am a fourth year biochemistry major in ERC. I was first introduced to archery through my dad, who wanted me to go hunting him. Although I don’t want to go hunting, I love the sport and have been shooting for about 7 years. I joined SGA during my second year at UCSD, and have been competing since joining the club. Through competitions and attending practices, I have loved the friendly community with other college students and archers this club has helped create. As vice president, I will be organizing more social/team bonding events for new and returning members to get to know each other better. I also manage club membership, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions! I am looking forward to serving on the board and super exited to meet new members on the field! Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am a third year Chemical Engineering major in Muir College. My whole life I’ve done competitive sports, and when I came to UCSD my freshman year and saw a flyer for SGA Archery, I just knew I had found my place. I’ve loved learning the sport and meeting amazing people over the past two years. I’m so excited to meet all you new amazing people this year! As one of your team captains, I will manage our weekly team practices as well as all competitions throughout the year. Hello everyone! I'm Justin, a second-year Masters student in bioengineering, and I'm one of your team captains for this year! I started archery in 2012 when I was in middle school, and immediately fell in love with the sport. After shooting competitively in high school with HSS Archery Club in Irvine, CA, I wasn't able to shoot during undergrad, but I'm very happy to be back now with SGA. I’m super excited for this year’s competitive season, and hope to see you guys at practice!

Hi! I’m Jacob and I’m a third-year Cognitive Science ML major in sixth college. I first started archery in my backyard because my dad liked archery hunting and got me a bow to practice with him. However, I really started shooting once I joined SGA and found my groove both as an archer and a member of the club. I love coming to practices to destress after hours of classes and homework, and love chatting with everyone on the field. Feel free to strike up a conversation with me on the field! Hiya! I'm Kiichi and a I'm a third year Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major from Muir College. Archery has been something I've been interested in all my life,, whether it be from Legolas from the Lord of the Rings or playing around with the bows from Minecraft -- I've always loved the idea of shooting arrows! I joined SGA in my freshmen year after attending a couple workshops and I immediately knew it was something I'd want to continue pursuing. So far I've been shooting for a little over a year now and the tangible improvement I've felt has been like nothing else. As your future social chair I look forward to planning the events for y'all to attend and I hope to see y'all there!!

Hi, I’m Aden, a third-year mechanical engineering major in sixth. I started shooting during high school and have been shooting since then. Before coming to UCSD I rarely competed but now here I’ve really enjoyed going out and competing along with other club members and just having fun. As facilities manager my job is to maintain our club bows and bales so that everyone can practice properly. I’ll also be the one placing orders for equipment if you ever choose to get your own bow so feel free to contact me if you have any questions about equipment. I hope to see you on the field!

Hey! My name is Anurag and I’m a second year Computer Science major in Seventh College. I first picked up recurve archery when I was 12 and I’ve never looked back since. Joining SGA in my freshman year really helped me feel welcome to the community and the past year I’ve loved competing and going out with my friends.
