Hello, I’m Aidan, a third-year biochemistry student at Revelle. I started shooting about ten years ago after trying it out at a Boy Scouts event. Since then, I have been shooting on and off and even competed for a couple of years before high school. Despite coming to UCSD during a pandemic, I was able to join SGA and come back to archery to do what I love. As president of SGA, it is my responsibility to guide the board of officers and uphold the ideals of SGA. I hope to see you all on the field!

Hi! I’m Nathan, a second-year aerospace engineering major in Warren. I was introduced to archery in middle school, and have been competing on a national level ever since. Before coming to UCSD, my coach used to train a club that I was a part of every weekend. I get to have the joy of continuing to learn under this coach in my collegiate career. Since joining SGA, my passion has grown even more for this sport. I love being able to compete and make new friends along the way. As one of the team captains, I will be helping our team members prepare for competitions with different training regimens, and coordinating with the coaches about the goals and future of out team. I’m looking forward to meeting and shooting with everyone this year!

Hello everybody! I’m Owen, and I’m a sophomore pre-med Clinical Psychology Major at ERC. I first heard about SGA when I was touring UCSD with my older brother in my freshman year of high school. From then on, SGA and UCSD were a package deal, and I joined immediately after I got accepted! I don’t have any prior archery experience and I’m excited to learn alongside anyone whether they be a veteran kitted out with medals or picking up a bow for the first time at our field. As Treasurer I will ensure that every officer and member of the club has financial resources at their disposal to shoot their best. If you see me on the field, don't be afraid to say hi!

Hi, I’m a second-year Cognitive Science major in Seventh College. I got into archery by joining SGA in the fall of last year, so this will be my second year of actually shooting. I enjoy archery because it gives me a place to focus on something other than college and I love the community that SGA has grown and will continue to foster. As director of external affairs, I aim to build and develop the bridges that keep SGA thriving through communicating with UCSD, USA Archery, and other local collegiate archery organizations. Hi! I’m a fourth-year Applied Mathematics major in Warren College. I started archery in my first year of college, finding out about this club from my roommate who saw a flyer during welcome week. I have been shooting since my first year but took a (kind of forced) break during covid. I am thankful to the club because of all the fun and exciting people that have made my college life fun. As your director of IT, I hope to foster a more welcoming community for newer members through consistent updates of club events. I hope to see you on the field!
